Among Us Impostor Guide
 
Fake tasks
At the top left of the screen, it will show all of the fake tasks you can do to fake being a crewmate. By faking tasks during the game, your chances of not being suspected as an impostor may strengthen.
 
Sabotage
There are several possible ways to sabotage the ship and crewmates, including:
Doors

• Sabotaging a door will cause it to lock and close for 10 seconds. Specifically only on the Polus map, you can unlock doors with a task. Closing doors is a great strategy to slow down crewmates or lock them in a room with you for an easy kill. As the impostor has a limited sabotage cooldown time, remember that sabotaging doors adds to your cooldown time, so use it wisely.

 Lights 

• Sabotaging the lights will reduce all crewmates’ vision to a tiny circle without affecting your vision. Reducing light is a great way to score a kill and breakup groups. If you notice a group of crewmates trying to fix the lights try picking off the person in the back. The crewmates likely won’t find the body for a long time. You could also try killing the person in front. The group will likely immediately report the body and start accusing everyone in the group. Excluding you!

Comms

• Sabotaging comms makes it so the crewmates can’t see where their tasks are while also turning off cameras and other tracking systems. When the comms are sabotaged, you don’t have to worry about a pesky crewmate watching you attempting to kill.

 Reactor

• Sabotaging the reactor will cause a countdown to start. The only way it can be stopped is by the crewmates completing simple tasks. If the reactor isn’t fixed by the time the counter hits 0 you win! 

02 (Oxygen)

• Sabotaging 02 will also trigger a countdown that can only be stopped if the crewmates complete selected tasks.If the countdown hits 0 you win!

 
Secure an escape route
The last thing you need is for someone to walk in and see you standing by the body. Luckily, by venting you can get away quickly and carefully. But be wary because if someone sees you venting, it is as good as game over.
 
Blame others
At meetings make sure to blame others. It will seem suspicious if you are accused and don’t fight back.
 
Destroy!
With this guide you will be a destroying imposter in no time!
 
Crewmate Guide
This guide will help you find the impostor and win the game as a crewmate.
 
1. Stay together
   If you're in a group, the impostor can’t kill you for risk of everyone noticing. This makes sticking with others a great strategy to use at the beginning of the game.
 
2. Watch other players to make sure they are completing tasks.
If a player is in a task spot, watch them. They could be an impostor pretending to do a task. As they are doing a task the task bar should fill up. If it doesn’t, they are most likely the impostor.
 
3. Common tasks
The task bar shows all the common tasks. If you see someone completing a task that is not on the task bar, they are most likely an impostor.
 
4. Look for fresh kills
If a body is upright it means the kill is fresh. If you see someone go into a room and in the room there is a fresh body they are most likely the impostor.
 
5. Skip the vote
If you’re unsure who the imposter could be, skip the vote. Ejecting someone just because someone said so usually results in an impostor winning.
 
6. Visual tasks
These tasks have a visual event happen when completing them. Don’t waste a visual task when no one is around. Instead do it when someone is watching so they know you’re safe.
